Rob has an honours degree in Electronics Manufacturing from the University of Limerick, Ireland. Rob worked in AMT Ireland (Advanced Manufacturing Technology) for seven years as a Manufacturing Engineer working on prototype and low volume assemblies and advanced rework and repair projects. He also worked in AMT as a Materials Engineer, which involved materials analysis testing in the electronics manufacturing industry including J-std & IPC-TM-650 test procedures. During these seven years he was also a training instructor in the above listed courses. He has experience in all areas of Electronics manufacturing and brings this “hands-on” knowledge to the classroom. Rob set up ATEK Training in 2004 and has over 20 years experience in teaching IPC Training courses. Rob is also certified in Training and Continuing Education by the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. |
