IPC-A-600 Certified IPC Specialist Recertification |
This course is designed to help electronic manufacturers achieve the highest quality, productivity, and cost-effective production by ensuring that personnel can correctly apply the acceptability criteria of the IPC-A-600"Acceptability of Printed Boards"whilst performing visual inspection of unpopulated PCBs.
How the Recertification Program Works:
Candidates must pass open-book assessments. Successful candidates are awarded Certified IPC Specialist Certification valid for a further two years. Certified IPC Specialists may be recertified by two means:

Challenge Test
Candidates are allowed to take a challenge test, which simply means taking the open assessments without prior course instruction from the Certified IPC Trainer or Master IPC Trainer. Candidates who successfully achieve the required 70% score from the assessments are deemed to be recertified.
