IPC-7711/IPC-7721
Certified IPC Specialist Recertification |
The
IPC-7711/IPC-7721 "Rework of Electronic Assemblies/Repair
and Modification of Printed Boards and Electronic Assemblies"
modular programme defines tools, materials, methods and process
goals and guidelines associated with rework and repair of surface mount
and through-hole assemblies. The standards emphasise performance
specification for the chosen technology plus information on
the rework, repair and modification of PCBs and assemblies.
When used together, these documents should lead both manufacturer
and customer to consistent terms of acceptability.
