IPC Training & Certification Policies and Procedures Overview                                          <<<BACK

Membership in IPC is not a preliminary requirement for use of any IPC Training & Certification Program

There are two tiers to the Certification Programs

1
. Certified IPC Trainer

2. Certified IPC Specialist

Certified IPC Trainer & Certified IPC Specialist Certification (or recertification) expires after two years. Certification is valid through to the last day of the month, regardless of when in that month the certification was granted.
Regarding Certified IPC Trainers, if personal scheduling problems will delay timely recertification, IPC may grant an extension of up to 90 days in which to be recertified.
Regarding Certified IPC Specialists, if personal scheduling problems will delay timely recertification, Certified IPC Trainers may grant at their discretion and in accordance with ISO or other certification guidelines and restrictions that may be in place at a company, a single extension of up to 90 days in which to be recertified.
Regarding granted extensions above, please note that new certificates issued for recertification will have an expiration date exactly two years following the original expiration date.
Any candidate who completes the Certified IPC Trainer course but fails to pass the certification examinations may take a retest not sooner than 30 days and not later than 90 days after the date of the initial examination.
Any candidate who completes the Certified IPC Specialist course but fails to pass the certification examinations may take a retest not sooner than one calendar day.
